 
TAKEphONE is a wrapper for the Palm OS address-book application, designed to enhance & simplify the most common tasks: Finding phone numbers & Creating/editing contacts. These tasks can be done without the use of a stylus, and with just a few taps on the screen.
TAKEphONE also enables making phone calls to numbers from your address-book using one of different types of devices:
- A Cellular phone capable of voice calls via IrDA (Infre-Red), Bluetooth or adaptor/cable.
- A Kyocera 6035/7135 SmartPhone device.
- A Samsung SPH-I300/330/500 SmartPhone device.
- A Handspring Treo/VisorPhone device.
- A Palm device with enhanced sound (like Palm Tungsten family, and some of the Sony Clies) enabling dialing by playing DTMF (touch-tone) dialing requires TeleTone s/w).
- Find/Create/Edit Address-Book records fast & easy
- No-stylus ("One-hand" or "Finger") operation
- Dial phone numbers using Cellular (IR or Bluetooth) / Kyocera 6035 or 7135 / Samsung SPH-I3x0+I500 / Handspring Treo/VisorPhone / Other devices
- Start SMS & Email (messages to contacts from within TAKEphONE (* see below)

- Please note: TAKEphONE relies on 3rd party SMS/Email applications to do the actual editing & sending of messages. Some of those apps are supported within TAKEphONE, while others require the "TAKEphONE plus Hack" (supplied).
